Wessex Male Choir has supported various charities, in the Swindon area and nationally, including:
Members of Wessex Male Choir taking part in the London "Big Half" Marathon on 4th March 2018, raising more money for Parkinsons UK.
They finished a long way behind Sir Mo Farah, but it should be pointed out that Sir Mo did no singing along the route, unlike our boys!
Wessex Male Choir were delighted to share the stage with their patron Aled Jones at the Donate Life Concert organised by Transplant Sport, at Sheffield City Hall in July 2013, part of a national celebration of the benefits of organ donation.

An intrepid band from WMC sang their way around the London Marathon on 22nd April 2007! They took part in aid of the Parkinson's Disease Society
The choir raised over £31,000, and a cheque was presented to the Parkinson's Disease Society by the Mayor of Swindon on 10th July 2007.
Wessex has continued to support Parkinson's UK, and as of May 2017 had raised over £65,000 for the charity!
