Jon Driver

Jon was Principal Accompanist of Wessex from 2008 to 2017, including the choir's winning performance at Llangollen International Eisteddfod in 2011. During his tenure, Jon also accompanied soloists including Elin Manahan Thomas and Paul Potts, and performed at Twickenham for the Six Nations rugby championship.

Katrine Reimers

Katrine was Musical Director of Wessex from January 2014 until July 2016. She led the choir on successful tours to Ireland and Italy. Katrine also led the choir to victory in the 2016 Cheltenham Competitive Festival, winning the Male Choir competition, Show Tunes competition, and the Gold Cup itself for outstanding choir of the whole Festival.

Robert T Elliott

Rob Elliott founded Wessex Male Choir in September 2001. Under his inspirational leadership the choir went on to receive a remarkable 20 awards and trophies in its first 12 years. This included becoming Male Choir Champions at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod in 2011. Rob retired from his post as Musical Director in December 2013. Members past and present are grateful for his immense contribution to Wessex Male Choir.

Mary New

Mary New was principal accompanist during the choir's formative years from 2001 to 2008. Mary helped the choir to many successes including top 3 places at Llangollen International Eisteddfod in 2004 and 2006.
